Salem Human Services, LLC supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. An inaccessible website would contradict that work, so accessibility is a requirement for this site, not an afterthought.

Our website

This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That includes:

• Working fully with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator
• Structure and labels that work with screen readers
• Text and background colors that meet contrast requirements
• Pages that can be enlarged to 200% without losing content
• Respecting your device’s reduced-motion setting
• Plain, direct language

Communicating with us

Everyone should be able to communicate with us in the way that works for them. On request, we use written communication, visual aids, or interpreters, including for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing. You can reach us through Pennsylvania Relay by dialing 711.
